Statutory rates April 2023

The new statutory rates for 2024/2025 have been published. Statutory maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental and parental bereavement pay will increase from 7 April 2024 to £184.03 per week (previously £172.48). The rate for statutory sick pay will increase to £116.75 per week (previously £109.40)

Amendments to minimum wage and national living wage have also been increased.

The new rates of National Living Wage and National Minimum Wage from 1 April 2024:

Age Hourly rate from 1 April 2024
21 and over (National Living Wage) £11.44
18-20 £8.60
Under 18 £6.40
 Apprentices under 19 or over 19 and in the first year. £6.40

The accommodation offset will be £9.99 per day (previously £9.10).
