Extended Furlough Guidance has been released this week, and it’s not even Friday!
It’s Friday night so true to form, there’s an amendment to the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme Guidance.
To be fair, it was a possibility this might happen and was expected.
For claim periods on or after 1 December 2020, an employer cannot claim for any days on or after 1 December 2020 during which the employee was serving contractual or statutory notice period for the employer – including those serving notice of resignation.
